NEET UG MBBS

Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery popularly known as “MBBS” is an undergraduate medical professional course. The medical degree is awarded by medical colleges which authenticate degree holder to start practicing medicine and surgery. Following the tradition of United Kingdom it is the combination of two separate  degrees. In India MBBS is 5.5 years degree course including one year compulsory rotating internship. The MBBS course starts with basic pre-clinical subjects like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, and end with advanced clinical and surgery allied subjects like Obstetrics, Pediatrics, ENT, Anesthesiology, Orthopedics, etc. The whole course is divided into 9 semesters and consists of 3 professional Examinations.

  • General /gen-Ewd- 50%
  • OBC /SC/ST-40% and PWD -55%(if belongs to general) ,50%|(if belongs to ST/SC/OBC)
  • Admission process :-  Entrance exam + Group Discussion/Personal Interview )
  • Course duration :-3 years and 2 years in case of diploma course
